I Plan to do Sandal Wood Plantation + DRIP IRRIGATION in trichy,tamilnadu for 2 acres.I want to buy Sandal wood plant and drip irigiation from goverment bcoz of subsede .i dont no whom i have to approach .how much cost it will come for both.plz tell me guys.thanks in advance

sandalwood- is it santalum album or Pterocarpus santalinus that you want to grow?Both are different with respect to cultivation , and plant type.

if you take the services of major drip irrigation companies like m/s jain irrigation, you can get subsidy of 50%. Many of the agents of jain irrigation accept only your part of the contribution and undertake the drip irrigation installation. they will take the subsidy portion after you receive the subsidy.

HI all,
here i am also on of the same thoughts,
i had lands in different places, but i could not planed till to date,
recentaly my fatherilla was suggested to irrigate the sandal wood,
this plants was almost available in nearest nursery.
but i don't no about the rule framed by the indian govt for the cultivators.
i read some where only 70% of cost is evaluted for the farmers for cultivating the crop.
pl sent any details u know reg the cultivation and the system of loan track or any thing,
