The best place in maharastra for rose farming is Talegaon dabhade (Floriculture park), Lonavala, Both in Pune , Karjat, Nasik etc. You can get full knowledge from Hi-Tech Floriculture project, Agriculture college Shivajinager,pune.
Where they conduct 1 month course about it.

The very ideall place for rose farming in maharastra is tungi (lonavala).giants like ESSAR are already in this business here n doing great.the soil,wether,and water is best suited for it.I have land in tungi.if intrested u can mail me....
