root rot problems in cashew grafts

Dear all,
Please help me out. I had planted cashew garfts in my farm. some of them have died and most of them are facing the problem of root rot. Due to heavy rainfall the water is not percolating down which is causing water logging and rotting of root. Please suggest me a treatment for this. My friend has suggested me to drench Copper Oxychloride in soil near the plant. Will this treatment be effective.
What other measures are to be taken please advice?:confused:
