Question Risk in Grafted Lemon Saplings

Hi All,

I am basically a software Engineer and in the process of transforming myself to a Farmer. I have 5.5 acers of land at Orissa , where I am planning to have Lemon Orchid in 1 or 2 Acer.

I recently saw some videos in youTube where ppl says .never go for Grafted /Air-lying saplings. Thy claim these saplings will produce good for 2/3 year and later stop producing fruits. Thy suggest to go for Seedlings .

Please suggest is it true or Myth ? Bcoz plants prepared from Seedlings will take 4/5 years to fruit.

Note- I am absolutelly new to farming and need lots of guidance/help and much needed motivation from the experts like you.

Dear sir, Please go for reliable sources such grafted plants from good nurseries such as nurseries in Kadiyam near Rajamandry, Dr.YSR Horticulture University campus- Tadepalligudem , AP, Private Nurseries at Koduru , Cuddapah district of AP are reliable sources .
