Dear Mr. Deepak,
If you don't know, please be informed that Sandalwood (hope you want to plant White Sandalwood: Botanical Name: Santalum album, and NOT Red Sandalwood: Botanical Name: Pterocarpus santalinus) is a parasite tree and require lot of other trees around. It need forest like situation for proper growth. Need planting of at least 10 trees as host trees around to assure nutrient supply to Sandalwood. There is a new, improved system of planting of few specified trees (this provide short term income too) around which assures sufficient nutrition to the Sandalwood tree, and also there is a system for maturing it within 7-8 years. In normal condition, it will take 12-15 years to mature. It grows fine only in a forest like situation. So, it not advisable to cultivate Sandalwood as a mono culture plantation.
Sapling Cost: Rs. 80-100/depending upon age of saplings-months/year and growth size. 450 plants per acre possible, along with host plants-equal number or 3 times more (450 plants or 450 x 3: 1350 @ Rs. 30/50 per sapling). Other costs extra such as labour, manure, bio controls, water supply and maintenance etc.
If the land is full time wet land/marshy land, it require filling with enough soil to make it a little hard, as Sandalwood will not grow properly in full time wet/marshy land.

We can supply best quality saplings required and provide all assistance for the project.
Please specify your location and address so that we can calculate the transport cost to deliver the plants. We are based in Kerala.
Please see below details of our services and contact us for further details and support to set up the project.

Introduction Letter:
We provide Concept to Completion (C2C) Consultancy Services for Integrated Green Farm Projects (IGFP) based on Sustainable Farm Development & Management System (SFDMS) including High Value Crops-Multi Cultivation Organic System (HVC-MCOS of Herbs, Spices, Flowers, Vegetables, Fruits, Cereals, Pulses, Plantation Crops etc) and Other Farm Income Activities such as Bee Keeping, Organic Farm Tourism, Ayurvedic Tourism, Animal Husbandry, Fishery, Butterfly Park, Bird Park, Walk in Aviary of Exotic Birds, Pets Zoo, Reptile Park, Aquaria etc) and Farm Products Value Addition Enterprises (MSMEs).

We assure cash flow from farm projects within 90 days (3 months) so that start up investment is kept at the lowest level possible. We promote cultivation of marketable high value crops and marketable add-on activities only and generate multiple incomes from the farm simultaneously through diverse activities. We don’t promote mono culture crops and mono activity projects.

We provide complete consultancy services (from farm design to product marketing) for setting up and sustainable and successful management of IGFPs based on SFDMS and HVC-MCOS. We have been providing these services during the last 10 years to small, medium and large farmers all over India.

We provide Concept to Completion (C2C) consultancy services to farmers and others to earn highest income from own/lease land, with lowest possible start up investment. The cash flow from 90 days onward can be reinvested for planned development and within 3 years, the project will become highly successful with high return on investment (short term and long term income) along with converting the whole land into a verdant heaven of diverse plants and animals.

Any type of land in any location (MSL 0-4000 M Altitude) can be converted into a high income IGFP based on SFDMS and HVC-MCOS. Abundant water supply is a must. The farmer/project owner should be committed to the project fully and ready to be with us, with committed love of land and the Mother Earth and beings around to achieve complete success. Existing mono culture or mono activity farm projects can be converted into successful IGFPs through HVC-MCOS system, Multi Activities and Value Addition Activities.

We promote only Organic/ Biodynamic/ Traditional/ Natural/Vriksha Ayurveda cultivation practices. We provide complete consultancy for designing the project, sourcing investment through loan or otherwise (if the farmer/project owner is not able to invest own funds for startup), conduct feasibility studies and prepare feasibility report, prepare basic concept design (BCD), detailed project report (DPR) and assist in getting loan, subsidies, grants etc, and market products.

We undertake C2C Consultancy under any of the two options:

Option A: On Consultancy Basis: We undertake complete start up support, from designing the project to implementing such as setting up basic project infrastructure, planting crops, and managing it up to 3 months-the first harvest of short term crops, if the farmer/project owner is able to manage the project on their own after 3 months.

Option B: On Consultancy Cum Income Sharing Basis: Complete farm management up to 1-3 years and the farmer/project owner will get complete training to manage on their own after 1-3 years.

In both options, we will undertake complete activities from design to implementing and provide all assistance to get investment/loans, subsidies, grants and also market products.

Please see our earlier reply with details. Please mail your location and contact details. We can supply the saplings at best competitive price and provide all assistance and advises for cultivation. Never go for mono culture of Sandalwood (Santalum album)-it will not grow properly as it is a parasitic plant, which need other trees around to get sufficient nutrients. Please mail inquiry with details to: greenlandfns@gmail.com
