I initially need 3 acres. I can streatch it to 4 acres depending opon cost.

I am looking to buy about 100 acres of agri land and was researching land prices in various areas of India, when I came across your post. 25k an acre seems to be low or at least something a decade ago.

Could you please advise your land use? and if you were able to get land at this or near price? or know of any land available near this price point or lets say below 50k rs an acre?

I would like invite other readers to post low prices around their areas, so something can be defined about what cost is low priced farmland (not desert) in India?

Hoping to see a good discussion.

Actually, this is a good start. I am also a starter and looking for Agri land, if any land at 25K per acre would be a killer in South India. I am ready to pay up to 1lac per acre but with water source, I have not found any such till date.
