Registering a New Firm

Hello,
I want to register a new Firm "ABC Agro Farm" in Tamil Nadu, kindly can you give me the details, and the legal formalitites, it has to be a Proprietorship Firm.

Hi Rajan

In case if it is sole proprietorship (single owner - that is you are the only owner) then it is not necessary to register your company.

In case if it is partnership then again it is not necessary to register but in future problems might arise between you and your business partner ... so it is better to have an agreement like a Bond that is properly attested and signed by notary public.

Registration is must only when you are a Public limited or Private Limited or Public Listed company.

Then what are the other formalities do I have to do to get a PAN card, open a bank account, and avail of government schemes. Thank You
