regarding poultry training and subsidy

Hello,
I am from amroha(J P Nagar), Uttar Pradesh. Can u please tell me, the whole procedure to get subsidy on poultry firm in u. P. I asked many officers related to poultry firm in U P but no one knows about the any state or central government subsidy scheme. Whom should I contact for the same. how much subsidy I can get for poultry firm for 5000 layer birds. please tell me about training institute in U P so that I would be eligible to get bank loan and subsidy

Hi Ahmed,

The central avian Research Institute offers training in poultry. It is an orientation training to start poultry farming. Three batches of short-term training on poultry production management (6 days duration) are being organized at the Institute every year. Any literate person is eligible for enrolling to the course. Enrolment fee is Rs. 700/- for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 400/- for SC/ST candidates only. Application forms can be obtained by writing to the Head, Technology Transfer Section, CARI, Izatnagar, Bareilly 243 122 (U.P.), or can be downloaded from the website.

The Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences will be extending financial assistance to farmers for setting up poultry units under the National Agricultural Development scheme with the objective of helping them in augmenting their income through allied activities, along with agriculture.

Under the scheme, a loan of up to Rs. 8 lakh and a subsidy of Rs. 1 lakh would be made available for layer birds (egg) and Rs. 1 lakh, comprising Rs. 50,000 each as loan and subsidy, for broilers (flesh).
