Red aloe is Aloe ferox while Aloe vera is Aloe barbadensis


The flower of Aloe ferox,native to South Africa is orange or red,so it is red aloe.In India some persons are cultivating this variety of aloe.
Aloe ferox can be cultivated from seeds or from cuttings.
