Profitable tree plantation in drought area in part of Tamilnadu

Dear sir,

Please provide me for tree plantation ideas if your time permits.

We have 2 acre land which has less sand depth., might be around 1 feet. Our part of Tamilnadu is the most drought region.

Now I have started increasing sand depth by adding lake soil.
