Profitable Crops for Black cotton soil ?

Hello All

We have Water logging in our black cotton soil and water retention is much as it is low area and we are growing paddy and black gram.

Could any one suggests related to proper drinage system or Any profitable crops other than rice and black gram ?

For blackcotton soil, cotton, wheat, jowar, linseed, Virginia tobacco, castor, sunflower and millets. Rice and sugarcane can be grown.

During rainy season paddy cultivation is must. If you establish any drainage system you can take up cotton, chillies, vegetables etc
