I'm new to this forum. Please guide me to start Prawn Farming in 3 Acres of Land.

What is total cost to start the same?

What would be profit in percentage?

Hi Kumaresan.
Normally for keeping prawns for commercial purpose you have to dig ponds, test for seepage, repair if required, then fill water & culture algae & planktons & then stock the pond with fish fry (small fish). The pond get filled up in monsoon & fishes grow fast. Please also contact your local fisheries department.
Unfortunately monsoon has set in so you cannot do this now. The whole process takes about 3 months. Try doing it next season.
Before doing anything get your soil tested & also get the water nearby your area tested. If water quality is not good then you will waste your money.
