I am planning to start poultry layer(Egg) farming in southern Tamilnadu.
The weather condition as follows.
April and May are the hottest months with average maximum temperature hovering around 42 degree Celsius.
Winter sets in the month of November and persists till the end of January. The average maximum temperature hovers around 30 degree Celsius. The minimum temperature in these months sometimes goes down to 17-18 degree Celsius. The relative humidity in general remains between 55 and 65 percent except during monsoons where as the average rainfall is around 800 millimeters per annum.
My Question is
1. Can I start a Layer(Egg) forming at this climate conditions.
2. Do I need an Aicon or heater
3. What will be the typical investment for 2000 eggs per day capacity?
4. I am new to Layer Farming. Any course/education available?
Thank you
