Hi:

Can some on explain, why Potassium Nitrate 13:0:45 is much costlier than Potassium Chloride (MOP) 0:0:60?

What way Potassium Nitrate is superior than Potassium Chloride to substantiate the higher cost?

The above questions has reference with Banana crop, as Potassium Chloride is not available, forced to use Potassium Nitrate as I don't have no other choice.

Thanks for the help. Have a great day.

pot nitrate has both nitrogen and potash hence costlier, pot chloride has only potash but higher in %.you can use any one based on cost and availability practically.
Don't bother about experiments which reports what is good at this level.
