Dear Sir,

Your data on income and expense on Pomegranate is absolutely wrong. If one were to grow Pomegranate scientifically, the expenses you have mentioned are way too low! At the same time, the income from scientific Pomegranate cultivation is much higher than you have mentioned. I have no exposure to teak cultivation and hence I am unable to comment on your expense - income data on teak cultivation. But, I can assure you that the expenses and incomes data you have indicated for Pomegranate is totally wrong!

Further, it is unfair to compare pomegranate cultivation (which requires rigorous cultural operations and constant involvement from the cultivators) to teak cultivation. The efforts are different and so are the returns.

No offense against teak cultivation. But, long term investments need very good assessment before venturing.

Teak v/s pomegranate

Hello sir,

I want state something here about teak & pomegranate and i am not against teak cultivation.But pomegranate is fruit cultivation butwe wnt get any fruit from teak.So the usage of the teak is different from pomegranate.While comparing with paddy cultivation the yield factor will ver very very less than teak.But rice is food for the human community that thing you will keep in your mind.Without food the human community will not survive but the human comunity will survive without teak.You have stated that everthing will availiable in NABARD website.The yield patterN & FACTOR ARE BASED IN THE OLDEN DAYS OF CULTIVATION.THere is no Tissue culture teak aswellas Bagawa ,ganesh ,Jothi, Sindhoori & bahawa giant nandini(These are high breed varieties & high yield varieties).SO i request you please observe the the yield of the hibreed pomegranate)
