The xanthomonas axonopodis pv punicae causes teh bacterial blight in pomegranate.The symptoms included leaf and fruit spots, and cankers on stems, branches and trunks.
Control- Control - Spraying of Topsin-M (0.1%), Sulfex (0.03%), Difolatan (0.2%) or Dithane M-45 (0.3%) at 15 days interval gives good control of the disease.
