botanical name costus specioses in sanskrit it is called chanda and also called as red ginger.ryzome is usefull part for this plant.flowers in white with red bunch. for more details ananyaagrotech@yahoo.co.in

Locally in tamil nadu this is called as insulin plant.The taste of this is just like tamarind leaves .If you eat two leaves morning ang evening will reduce sugar in blood,

sorry friends it is not insulin plant please confirm.insulin plants has yellow flower .this plant is with white flower.this plant parts ryzomes are used. please check and confirm. for more details ananyaagrotech@yahoo.co.in
