Hi

Initially get a soil and water analysis done of the land. WIth the report you can approach the agriculture or horticulture officer who will guide you correctly in selection of crop.

Ph of Soil - is the determining factor for the crop selection.
Based on that, you can select the crop. For easy guess, just see what your neighbour farmers to your land are growing, talk to them & get to know.

PH of the soil is not necessarily the only determining factor for crop selection.
PH of the soil can be altered by additives. What mainly determines crop selection is weather, soil type and availability of water.

2 inch of water

dear sir

As per your water availability you may get 7200-9000 liter per hour based on your bore well water source and decide how many hrs you will get water continuously per day like that you will calculate water availability and select the crop based on soil and water test and raise the crop through drip irrigation system because you can control the plant and minimize the wastage also

if you need any help please contact

4 acres of land suitable projects

dear sir, first of all please inform where your land is located then we can decided the type crops or plantations can be taken up.

On the four acres we can start a dairy farm initially with 10 animals . You may require 2-4 acrs of land for fodder cultivation . You may appraoch any Banker for taking dairy unit under Dairy entreprenuership Development program of NABARD
The unit cost is 5.00 Lakhs
Marging to be met by you Rs.0.50 Lakhs
Bank loan : Rs.4.50 Lakhs
subsidy Rs: 1.25 Lakhs can be claimed from NABARD

Or you can take up cultivation of vegetables

Or you can start a Sheep farm with 100+5 unit with Rs.5.00 Lakhs

Or Any plantatins like guava, mango etc can be taken up .

Or If mango guava are taken up in between sandal wood plants can alos planted . The Mango will be yielding from 5 to 15 years . After 15 years sandal wood can be harvested with more income as sandal wood reuqiire host plants for nourishment as it a parasite.
