You cant depend on hydroponic fodder through out the year as you will not be able to produce it,due to changes in humidity as per our Indian climatic conditions,as humidity changes water level should also be changed,otherwise you will see fungus on fodder which is harmful for goats.Hydroponic feed is replaceable to concentrated feed,as it has more protein and nutritional content.Concentrated feed given to adult goats is around 500gm-1000gm and other feed is around 1kg-3kg per day,varies depending on body weight.If you exceed concentrated feed above normal level there will be severe loose motion in goats.So along with hydroponic feed other feed is required for goats for proper development of body.To decrease the feed cost,agriculture land is required to cultivate other feed.If you purchase the other feed from market,you profit rate surely declines as compare to feed cultivated by our self on our own land.
