Pineapple Cultivation

Hello Sir
U may apply:
Calcium Carbide: 30g/1Lit. of water and apply 50ml/plant
Plantifix: add in 4.5 Lit. of water and apply 50ml/plant
Ethrel: 1ml + 5Lit. of water and apply 50ml/plant (Ethrel, or the more recently developed Ethephon, applied at the first sign of fruit ripening in a field will cause all the fruit to ripen simultaneously. It brings the ratoons into fruit quickly.)
 

The flower inducer for Pineapple is Ethepon . Ethepon -39% is available and the product can be diluted with water and poured at the top bunch, which will flow down and this will induce uniform flower setting as well maturity.Two applications advised.
There is no product called plantfix and calcium carbide is not advisable.

In pineapple crop flowering will not come at a time. For inducing flowering application of Napthaline Acitic Acid 10 -20 ppm (i.e 10-20 mg per litre) after 12-14 months of planting or pouring of 20 ml of the same preparation in the crown will induce flowering.
