What is the availability of Color Capsicum (Orange / Purple / Black) Seeds in India?
And also any opinion on the Market potential?

Hi,

Vijay is right. There is a good potential for color capsicum. Mainly Red and Yellow sell very well. Purple comes next. Most other colors are really for hobby growers.

Namdhari seeds are excellent but they cost a lot more. At 8.50 per seed it seems expensive to start with but their germination % and the yield is far superior to other MNC brands.

I am doing Color Capsicum with hydroponics which allows me almost 12 month season and I can grow them in same green house year after year.

The colour capsicums are exotic variety. These have demand in the metros and upcoming cities like bangalore, hyderabad etc. Availability of these seeds is doubtful, please check with nunhems, namdhari or tokita seed companies.
