NERGA a serious problem

Dear Firend,
It very true that the schemes of central government has brought the seviour problem of labour crises in the agriculture sector. It has directly effected the efficiency of the hard working labour.
The work which is been assinged to them and the way how it is supervised is always a question. No skilled supervisors are found on the ground. The one who hardly can write or read is the leader of all.
The major problem is not only the lack of labour in the agriculture but it is very serious to understand that the person who has once joint these would hardly like to work hard in the field.

I have found in my region that even during the time of rainy season the workers left their field fellow and went on working for the government. Ultimately the fertile land which is yeilding good crop has also left to till. The only reason is that they get the reward form the government and has to work for few hours. These attitude of the farmers have decreased the cultivation ratio and have also created the problem on the enviornment. The crop production is directly effected due to these reason.
More over during the time of harvest the large farmers who have the need of labour suffers the problem of scarcity of labour even though India is densly populated.

We must understand that the new generation is neglecting the agriculture field and the people who are right now engaged in the agriculture are carried away by the government. These has created the vaccum in the agriculture sector. The traditional practise of Agriculture is now been replaced with the new comming crops but the principle practise of hard work, puncultiy, knowledge about the weather, Understanding the need at time to time basis has no relation with the books. It only comes when one work in the field and have the practical knowledge.
Many a time we have seen that the agriculturist have failed and illeterate farmers have achived success in the agriculture. They have the grip over the water and soil's nature, climatic condition, local factors relevant changes in the weather in that region and such many other factors. It is not so easy for the rest people to jump into the agriculture directly from the business.
Looking to all these parameters when these kind of efficient peoples are kept away from the agriculture practises for few years their skill of agriculture is killed and on the contrary they will be not able to do hard work and there will be a large vaccum of the skilled people in the field of agriculture.
I would like to request my friend to educate the local village people and make them understand that what kind of effect they will be facing if after few years the Government will stop the programme. They wont be able to get the wages which they are enjoynig right now and at last they will be not able to work even in their own field.
These is the right stage for the youth to enter in the field of agriculture. I am looking the large vaccum in these field. One can compromise with rest of the things but not with the food.
Due to the lack of labour the wages are increasing and obviously in the comming days the commodity rates are going more high. Necessacity and Population has increased, area under the cultivation has dereased, The skiiled persons are sucked away by the other means from the farm. Increasing farm input rates have decreased the interest of the marginal farmers. Irregular monsoon and natural calamities are some of the other subject which have created the food crieses. It is really very much important for all of us to think for the Indian agriculture if we want to be self satisfied in the matter of food.

I would like to have the views from the friends.
