New Poultry farm business

Hi
I want to start a new poultry farm business . Is it possible in an investment of around 10-15 lacs. I want to start this at some place in Himachal Pradesh. Please advise.

Dear amit c, Please inform us whether you are taking up Broilers or layers. (Layers are to be set up from 5000o to 100000 birds require 5 crores investment)

for 5000 broilers `10 - 15 lakhs are sufficient

iv Hybrid Broiler Rs 2.24 lakh 25% of the outlay (33.33 % for SC / ST
(chicken) Units – upto for a batch of farmers and NE States including Sikkim) as
5000 birds. Can be 1000 broilers - back ended capital subsidy subject to a
weekly, fortnightly, Varies with ceiling of Rs 56,000/- for a unit of 1000 birds
monthly, all-in all-out unit size ( Rs 74,600/- for SC/ST farmers and NE
batches. Bird strength States including Sikkim). Subsidy shall be
at any point of time restricted on a prorata basis depending on
