Hello,
I am Madhu
I am working in abroad I am coming back soon.I am intrusting to start a farm with 10 Cows.As a beginner I need some advice from those how have experience in this field.
I have 7Acres of land with good water available
Please help me for the following
1. What will be the total expense
2.Where I can buy good high breeds cows in Karnataka
3.Which type of high breeds cows are suitable for Karnataka
4.What will be the profit from this farm

Please contact the dairy science specialist at IIHR, Hesarghatta. They provide training for dairy farming, enrol for the same . Once you get a practical knowledge then you can proceed further. Good breeds are available in the veterinary department. Approach the officer in your district. The cost varies with the age and milk yield of the cows.
On-Campus and Off-Campus Extension Training Programmes organised periodically for the benefit of the Clientele Groups in the Campus and in the adopted villages respectively by the NDRI, Bangalore
