need some information

Hello Sir,
I am a M.phil scholar in Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.In my M.phil project I wish to work in Justicia adhatoda (adhatoda vasica) plant.since my UG in Botany I know basic information about this plant.Now in M.phil I have planned to isolated dna sequence which is responsible for medicinal character.My request is please give some information about it's actual medicinal functional properties and where i can get the good samples for for my work.

It is mainly used in respiratory problem. Besides, its useful in cough and cold and in fever. How the drug acts is perhaps difficult to explain. In my openion no work is available on this aspect.At present I am on tour.And after I returned, may be some more information can be given to including references.Leaves are easily available particularly in north India.The plant is found growing on roadside.
