You can start ur poultry from 5000 birds for broiler. Govt provide subsidy on that from NABARD upto 25%.
It is bank ended subsidy. And u have to take loan from bank.
Poultry reats is very good and it is a profitable business.

Dear Saran,

For 1000 chicks U required 1200 square feet area.
Below is cost for 1000 chicks project.
Farm costing app Rs90000.
chicks rate are varying time to time but u can get 18-20rs per chick.
Venkys co chicks are very good becuase they are well vaccinated and gives good growth.
in 45 days chicks wt will be 2 to 2.25 kg.
so if all things will be good ,U can earn Rs 50000 in 45 days from 1000 chicks.
The chicken market is very uncertain I am doing same business with 5000 chicks farm in Uttar pradesh.
Some times i earned 90000 money from 1000 chicks and some time only 30000.
