Need loca/Desi cows

Hi All,

Can anyone let me know if your'll have or know people who sell, local/desi cows which yeild min of 3-5 ltrs of milk a day. along with please let me know the cost as well.

I'm looking for seller in an around kerala, tamilnadu, andra & karnatak, since transport becomes a problem.

The Farm is located in 250 kms fom chennai and 180 kms from banglore.

hai,
generally south indian cattle breeds yield only up to 3-4 liters of milk per day.so if it is for own use you can keep kangayam cow.if you want more than this you can prefer north Indian breeds such as gir,sahiwal,tharparker and even ongole.let know about your exact requirement.for more details contact me..please contact.........

If your are looking out for good milk output , there is a breed of cow called

" Phule Triveni " a combination of Jercee + HF + Indian GIR. Developed by

" Mahatma Fule Krishi Vidyapith " (Maharashtra Govt's Agriculture Univercity)

which is suitable for Indian climatic conditions, and gives around 14 to 16 lits.

of milk everyday with 4.4 to 4.7 % Fats. Artifical insemination Frozen Semen

Straw's available with university.

Pradeep thanks for the information i was aware of Phule Triveni, but i was more interested in native breed at the moment since i getting my land ready with natural farming, the reason i require cows are for dual purpose for milk for daily running cost and for the manure to prep the land.
