Labour for agriculture is a very scarce commodity now a days. Thanks to the govt free schemes and the much debated NREGS. They have literally wiped out the farm labour out of the agriculture equation. Try your luck at the church near by. They may have contacts to people in the North who are willing to work in the farm for the right salary.
