Need informatoin about ORGANIC FARMING

My self is interested in agriculture research. I am micorbiologist and wanted to study organic farming in my future research work. I had found great alternate in organinc farming than recent Biotech-GMO technology. Is it true or something else? we should study with scientific base. With this may i intereted to know the person who have their own experince regarding to this.
So provide me the helpfull guidence.

Dear sir,

Organic farming and GMO s are opposit faces of a coin: organic principle says dont invest with available microflora, local inputs, local variety which are grately resistant to pest and diesease and highly acclamatized to native.

After bengal famaine scintst were asked to increase the productivity then came
1.Hybrids: which are costly and one time users.

2.In-organic means of fertilizers, like Urea, Poshphorus and pottash. Govt of india is providing subsidy around 117000 crors as for MNC copmany s to provide these fertilizers to give at cheap rate to fertilizers.

3.Pesticides: use of pesticides intervained in ecologicle balance there by a new problem, since chemical pesticides are having single compond insects get resistant so next yr new pesticide has to come.
4.Mechanization all the above made a farmer to unsustainable rather than feeding himso our agriculture fate is with d farmer to decide the future now days organic is gaining more impartance so many pesticides are entering human body through vegetable and fruits.
