Need information on establishing ostrich farm

Hi,

I am intrested in setting up an ostrich farm in Himachal Pradesh, Hamirpur District. I am intrested to start with 30 ostrich initioally.

Please let me know how many male/Femal ostrich needed for this.
And what will be the budget of this.
Also need information regarding the benifits of having ostrich farming.
Will atmosphere of Himachal is good for ostrich's.
Where we can find feed given for ostrich's and what will be the cost yearly basis and income as well.
Where the egs can be supplied.
How many egs on ostrich give per year.
Any additionally information then please share.

The tempreture of Hamirpur Distt remain 30 to 40 deg C in Summer and 15 to 25 in Winter...no snow fall happen in Hamirpur.

what are the restrictions whether wise for ostrich?

I am sure you would have done your home work, but the reports around ostrich and emu breeding and being commercially viable are not encouraging at all. Its ofcourse your decision, but you may want to get professional review on your project before parting with any funds.
