My apology if I have oversighted any post or it is duplicate thread. I am writing this post after searching in this forum for more than 2 months as well as on internet.
I am in private job and my brother is farmer in a place which is 50 KM far from Allahabad (UP).
He used to do farming on very fertile land but not satisfied. The reason is obvious that he is doing traditional farming of wheat and paddy. My question is do we have any forum on which I can read step-by-step farming and explain him how to do scienstific farming? I am also thinking for better utilitization say plant trees (again note sure about trees) on boundary of fields and do wheat, paddy farming.
I am open for your suggestion.
Another option of dairy farming but I believe it's not profitable in my place. Milk price is cheap (20 Rs.) in even Allahabad (UP) and it is 50 KM far from from my place and he is also not interested for this pain.
Still if you suggest for dairy farming and any plan I am open for it.
I am not also sure about other crops/farming like flower etc. and availability of buyers there.
I am humbly not interested for pig, goat, fish farming etc and interested for only vegetarian items plus Milk (as per some people's perception
).
Please please have a look and provide your expert comment. I have around 5 Acre land.
