i am a chemical engineer and currently in final year of my post graduation course in perfumery and cosmetics, we are into synthetic perfumery compounds business and i want to establish a extraction unit of natural essential oils like palmarosa and lemongrass in nagpur district. we have acquired land in MIDC umred, my scope of work will start after the harvesting stage.

can anyone help me by sending the details of the financial spects of setting up a 1 tone unit, all the details regarding it.

Its interesting to know that u are planning to utilise your training in Chemical Engineering to set up essential oil extraction.I have project on Hitech nursery, cultivation and production of medicnal and aROMATIC PLANTS. tHE EXTRACTION PLANT IS ALREADY IN OPERATION. Natural plant based perfumery is gaining much attention these day against synthetic cause carsenogenic effect (Having capacity to cause cancer) Palma rosa and Lemongross are the hordy crops and easily cultivated in dryland too higest recovery compared to aromatic essential oils, even National medicinal mission under NMPB is provding subcidy to establish the essential oil extraction unit further details pls contact Nearest Horticulture dept. of Agriculture dept/ agriculture university as it varies place to place it will be success full if done in cluster .
