Need guidance for start-up of aloevera farming

Yes, I am willing to render you my consultancy service for aloe vera farming .Please note that I am s chemical engineer with about 15 years of experience in aloe vera farming. You should select the land for aloe vera farming keeping in mind the following parameters :

1. pH of the land should be preferably between 7- 9,5

2.The land to be semi-arid

3.Proper water drainage system should be there to avoid water logging around the aloe vera plant roots.

4.Proper irrigation system to be established .

5.The elevation of land to be on the higher side as compare to main land.

6.Proper channeling to be made to allow rain water passes out of the farm area.

7.Not to allow any weed formation in and around the siblings through out the year.
If you so desire I can exchange other salient information to you .
Now I will brief you the productivity of aloe vera plantation. You may get 15-20 MT of aloe vera leave from 1 acre of land per cut and you can have 4 cuts per year .It means you will get 60-80 MT. of leaves per year from 1 acre of land and 2700 MT -3600 Mt of leave per year from your entire land.I will show the calculation in a nut shell as per follows:

Economics of the marketable products:

1.for aloe vera leaves, realization is ,Rs.2.50 per kg (Rs.2500.00 per MT), if you can sell within the vicinity of around 500 km distance from the processing unit(aloe vera leaves are very much perishable and rotten after 36 hours of plucking or keeping the leaves at 20 degree centigrade.

2. for aloe vera juice, gross profit margin is Rs.20.00 per litre , It means Rs.20,000.00 per kl

so, per day realization, Rs.60,000.00 considering 1 kl /day capacity of the plant and 2 shifts of 12 hours per day.

per annum realization , Rs. 300 lacs

net margin 40 % of gross realization,it means Rs.1.20 crores per annum

Note: The above cost is computed on the basis of 1kl per day plant capacity with 12 hrs shift x2 per day.

1.PROJECT COST

2.COST OF HARVESTING(PLANTATION)

3.COST OF PRODUCTION
