Need expert or consultant service on corn export

Hello Members,

I am trying to do business in Agro Products export and start from Corn. For this I have also done Import Export training in which I came to know about the total export process and documentation. Further I registered an Export firm, bank account, Import Export Code, Apeda membership.

Now I am finding orders from B2B websites, I am contacting clients and also getting reply from them but the problem is the orders are atleast 500 Mt. The finance is not issue but I am unable to figure out few things like:

1) Will the corn traders provide 500MT order at a time.
2) Shall I have to purchase corn from different traders to complete my 500 Mt
3) If client is asking for 500 Mt then can I ship it all at once? (is that possible) Or should I ship it part by part
4) Will logistics company handle from transportation to Shipping or I have to handle transportation ?
5) What all factors should I consider in pricing and what should be % of profit
6) Also is it necessary to stock the corn in harvesting season or I can get it directly by any trader?

Hi,

Try to do local trading of maize in India first to understand the market than go for exports/ be a merchandise exporter but with a surety of payments by the buyers.

Please specify the location of stocking nearest goodshed from the stocking location. Whether you require finance and from which port/harbor you plan to export corn.

Quality spec and what would be pooled qty .
Minimum order you are planning to place.
Payment terms.
Planning to take Ex-godown of Ex-delivery.
Planned source area like andra pradesh, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Bihar.
Bag size 50kg(usually paked 55-60 Kg) or 100 Kg.
