Dear Adhibobby,
You can have more than 50 cattle in 13 acres of land dairy farm.
You can grow them without depending much one feed purchased from market if you make perfect combination of fodder crops in the said land.
In addition to dairy farm you can also have your feature fixed returns.
You can grow medicines for you and your cattle.
You can grow your tasty fruits, grains,vegetables for your healthy food.
You can have other animals like sheep,goat,rabbit,chicken,cat,dog parrot etc.
You can make your land as Nandanavana if you decide to stay their and monitor personally.
Think again and again and come back with positive decision.

I am interested in dairy farm i own a 13 acres of land is it sufficient to start a farm.If it is how many cattle's can be maintained.plz provide some guide lines.
You can start with 160 Dairy Cows / Buffaloes with fodder unit , milk parlor + own small feed manf unit as per GGDFCS guidelines and project consultancy on A - Z turnkey basis.What about Groundwater level in your 13 acres land area and what are the commercial land cost of your toatl land ?
