Need assistance for dairy farming

Hi all,

I am a 2009 pass out commerce graduate and currently working in HP (Hewlett Packard),Bangalore.
I want to start a dairy farm in my village,can anybody please assist me on this?

Hai Akshay,
Good to see you back to pavilion of our mother nature.
Principles of doing our own job is different than JOB(Just Obaying Boss).
My advise to you to start dairy is if you stay at Dairy farm then take decision of starting it. Your presence makes difference for your growth in dairy.

Owning land is must for dairy, Dairy is an allied activity under Sustainable Agriculture. If you do true and calculated efforts in it, then you can beat your present CTC. Hope you owning land at Balegere.

Starting with small unit. Get success to enlarge it in big.

Yes, I have land in my native Balegere,but it is in my father's name.
And the main problem in my parents opposing to quit this job and start dairy firm, But really I don't want to go away from my aim, Kindly assist me.

Akshay,
Your parent saw the present farm practices and they have negative opinion on it. If any one have dedication, then success will be for them. Convincing your parents is easy if you have not yet married. Better we discuss it in phone.

because your interest only won't works in dairy.

However, who knows what are all your motivation, initiation are visions in owning....operating...managing...dairy farm.

To be sure and confirm decision, first you do the home work i.e. understand the intricases of the dairy farm, cow,fodder, etc.,

then you can realy think /decide what is correct or not, whether you are sure to move ahead in this regard.
