So, it is 23 cents land. You can use it to develop tree based food forest with Permaculture principles which is more like bio-mimicking. All you need to do
1. Assess the water availability particularly in summer.
2. Do proper water harvesting so that every drop water retains in the land.
3. Identify the long life fruit trees which are native to that area or resilient to that geography.
4. Try to cover the land with cover crops which reduces the aeration from soil and also enriches the soil with natural humus and fixes nitrogen, carbon gradually.
5. Cover crops like beans, radish, Navadhanya and go for chop and drop. (with in 2 to 3 years self sustaining eco system or micro climate will develop)
6.Try to plant more fruit trees with holistic, self-sustainable way (i.e, Mango-one fruit and one pickle variety, one Jackfruit, one Lemon, one Sweet Lemon, Moringa in between where the fallen leaves will add nitrogen to the soil, two orange, Papaya, Banana (fruit and cooking variety) as a grove, Pomegranate, Musambi, Guava, custard apple, Anjeer (fig) can be used fresh as well as dry fruit, Almond.
7. Spice trees - bay leaf, cinnamon, Mace/Javitri, you can grow bush pepper also.
8.NEVER USE ARTIFICIAL FERTILIZERS OF ANY KIND.
9. NEVER APPLY CHEMICALS FOR PEST CONTROL AT ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
10. YOU CAN USE NATURAL FERTILIZERS AND NATURAL PEST CONTROLS FROM COW DUNG AND COW URINE ADDED WITH SOME PLANT LEAVES.
11. YOU CAN USE THE PRODUCE FOR YOURSELF AND ALSO CAN MAKE SOME MONEY YEAR AFTER YEAR.
12. NEVER CLEAR THE DROPPED LEAVES, ALLOW THEM TO STAY AND DECAY (natural mulching) WHICH ENRICHES SOIL NATURALLY AND ALLOWS IMO (indigenous micro organisms like earth worms) TO THRIVE IN THE FARM.
13. Plant one or two bushes of light bamboo to grow in a corner, so that you can harvest them for supporting plants and trees while they grow without buying from outside.
