Ensure adequate drainage by forming drainage channels around and in between the land where fodder is grown.
- Take up planting/sowing in ridges and furrows
- ensure that the crop is sown/planted during the dry season with support irrigation. There is a possibility of the established crop surviving water logging.
- Add adequate organic matter and take up proper tillage
