I am planning to start cultivation of mushroom. I would like to know the demand and price pattern in the market.

mushroom price

price depends on the variety; for oyster mushroom u can expect to sell at a price of 150 rs /kg through local restaurants and vegetable shops.

I am going to do it in Utaranchal foothills area. I am planning to do oyster, button and vulvaria mushroom. I want to know the channels of sale of these mushrooms which is really imp for me to know, like how n whom to sell... please help...

nowadays mushrooms are sold best through retail outlets. oyester and button mushrooms are commonly sold through various retailers such as reliance fresh, namdhari, foodworld, more etc . volveriala mushroom is less sold so u can start giving an approach to these companies head office and show ur product. it should be packed either in polythene clean appearance and shown.
