Moringa planting - jcb vs earth auger

We are planting PKM 1 Moringa in 7.5 acres. We will be preparing pits for planting of Moringa Saplings in 2 weeks' time

The pit sizes are 1.5 ft x 1.5 ft x 1.5 ft [length x width x depth], and we are digging 5000 pits ona 8 feet x 8 feet spacing

We are not suing manual labour. We have 2 options for preparing pits,

1. Using a JCB to dig the 5000 pits, which in our opinion is an expensive affair
2. Using a Earth Auger / Hole Digger [Stihl Brand] to dig pits, this may be economical, unfortunately STIHL supports only maximum 1/2 feet width

Do members of the forum have any suggestions on which of the 2 options are the best, and based on your experience what is the best and least cost pit digging method, and what would be the costs

I shall appreciate hearing back from experienced members in this forum

dear krishnan, u can use the earth augur which is economical and you can dig 2 or 3 pits nearby and then you can these can be made as a single pit by using the earth augur in the gap between the pits.
