Does anyone have experience with this hybrid variety from Tamil Nadu Agri University?

Based on the projected yields of 220 pods per tree * 640 trees per acre, it should be possible to get around 75K profit per acre. It would be helpful if anyone who planted this can post their experience.

Dear Friend,

As an old student of PKM and as a horticulture consultant I can tell about PKM 1 Moringa.

This PKM 1 Moringa is strongly recommended by many agri consultants. It is true that it can bear a lot. The income from the acre depends upon the current market price of moringa.

But in cultivating this, you have to take care of two points:

1. The month of planting the saplings
2. When to pinch the tip of the plant.

Thank you Mr Surya for the information, nice to know that you have studied this variety. What is the best month to plant this variety in Tirunelveli near Alangulam (red soil, hot weather, decent rains), and after how many weeks should the plant tip be pinched?

How much yield variation will be there from the quoted rate of 220 pod/tree/year?

Thanks,

hmpo
