PRODUCTION DETAILS :-
Farm is basically planned to be intensive and sustainable as well as variedly integrated with multiple income sources which includes short term crops like vegetables medium term commercial crops like Banana and long term plantation crops like Coconut, Oil palm, Sapota and Amla.

To make the farm sustainable, great importance is given for organic cultivation for which aspects like vermicomposting, composting, jeevamrutha bio-digesters were commissioned.

To make the farm integrated for multiple source income provision for fishery and cattle rearing is given.


DETAIL DESCRIPTION OF CROPS GROWN :

Long term Horticulture crops :

COCONUT :-
Area :- 3.5 acres, Number : 200, Age: 12 years yielding, Varieties : Coc Hybrid, west coast tall, Tiptur tall.

OIL PALM :-
Area :- 10 acres , Number : 550 plants, Age : 3 ½ years

SAPOTA :-
Varieties cricket ball : 250 number Kalapathi : 50 numbers of 4 year old yielding. Newly planted Sapota around 900 plants in 8 acres.

AMLA :-
Mix croping of NA7 (60%), Krishna, Kanchan and Chakiyya (40%) Number of Trees : 650, Age: 5 years old.

MEDIUM TERM CROPS :-
Till June 2011 there was a crop area of papaya about 20 acres. By this year end on area of 18 acres of Banana is planned and the work is in progress.

SHORT TERM CROPS :-
Vegetable plot of tomato and brinjal measuring 4 acres is being cultivated with modern aspects like mulching sheet, in line drip irrigation and Fertigation.

As an intercrop is Amla 4 ½ acres of vegetables like pumpkin and other guards are being cultivated.

As an intercrop in sopota for about 3 acres water melon in grown.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF FACILITIES AVAILABLE

FENCING :-
The whole property in fully fenced with stone and barbed wire and is in good condition.

CENTRALISED IRRIGATION:-
Farm is equipped with well planned centralised irrigation consting of 8 bore wells, one huge dug well, I water tank measuring 70Ft x 30 Ft x 6 Ft capacity of 3,50,000/- litres. Bore wells pump water into these tanks where in 3 pump stations pump water to every nuke and corner of the farm.

DRIP IRRIGATION FACILITY :-
The pumping stations are connected to every plot which is totally drip irrigated with al high quality ISI drip. In addition to the drip each pump station is equipped with dual filtration system and Fertigation.

POWER TILLER:-
VST Shakthi, 13HP with all equipments is available (Rotovator, Cultivator, Trailer (1.5 ton capacity) and sprayer pump attached)

FARM HOUSE :-
Built up plinth area of 40 sq 2 bed room, (air conditioned) hall, open top portico, utility area, store room, labour quarter.

The house is having all kinds of amenities with mosaic flooring, designer ceiling etc.
