We all dairy farmers know the amount of expense per cow per day.

Now I welcome all Dairy farmers from all over India to mention here :

WHAT PRICE per litre do you get by selling full cream milk at your place.

Let us all know the state of Dairy in various parts of country.

I would like to start dairy farm... and i didnt have any property... i had only my b.tech certificates for security.... so,will it posible to get a loan... if it possible in which bank and how to get?... please help me out... thanx in advance....

Can anyone please tell me what would be FAT percentage of HF cow milk in normal conditions (AP). also please tell me the FAT percentage of Murrah buffalo milk (average conditions)

I was told by one of the dairy farmer that Rs.43/ paid for 10% fat of milk.

we are purchasing h/f cross,jersy cross - 45 nos in extending our daily farm the cow should be second or third lactaion the daily milching should be 15-20 lts per day and it should suitable for south tamilnadu climate tep is mas-38 min-29 pls send the quotes and details

Dear Omprakash,
Being Technical engineer, atracting to dairy farming is not an unusual, but, instead of you doing dairy farming, why can't you do something technical upgraded invention related to dairy? Being technical person it may not be impossible for you introduce any technology which may uplift dairy farming people and at the same time you will also can become enter pruner and give jobs to others?
If an un educated can do dairy farming, then why can't educated technical person can do something to dairy sector if you may have love on it.
I don't think any bank can give loan on your certificate, But any bank can give loan to your innovative project.

In around Kadapa dist, Andra Pradesh it is around Rs.42 for 10 FAT and around 28-30 for a FAT of 6-7 if you sell the milk to daires.

But if milk can be sold direct to customers, it is Rs.38-40 for 6-7 FAT Milk

As per my knowledge, FAT in animals as follows.
HF-3.5 to 4.5
JERSEY-4 to 5.5.
Buffalo-6 to 8.
Can you let me know from which breed of cattle you getting FAT-10?

sir,
i m a dairy farmer from pune (Maharashtra). i have crossbreed hf cow farm, we get 17-18 RS/lit fat percentage(3.6-3.8) when we give our milk to dairy parlor.
