Mango Tree Plantation

Hello All,

I own a 2 acre plot Semi-dry/dry land and am making arrangements to have drip irrigation set in place.

My questions is how many Mango tees i can plant in this 2 acre plot keeping in mind a small 10*10 shed and a dug up tank of 15*10.

Suggestions on this matter are much appreciated.

since you say your land is located in semi dry area..here moisture and soil conservation is a prerequisite..as a matter of fact... you go for conventional spacing of 10 M by 10 M covering 80 plants for 2 acres..

You need to do mulching...type of mulch decided based on the soil condition...

Rest is same as that of mango cultivation in other parts of india..
