plz also let me know:whichone is root stock and which one is scion.

This means that Malikas parents are Neelum female crossed with dasheri male parent.

and amrapalli is the result of cross between dasheri as female parent and neelum as male parent.


The crosses are done in advamce by the scientist.some years back they had pollinated these varieties and gave birth to new varieties.

Rootstock generally used is not a cross it is a wild variety that can support the tree.
the scion chacter is the variety we want to propagate.
