Looking for Manager to run production and sales for Mushroom Farm near Bangalore
Looking for a person to build from scratch to build a mushroom business.
We have the land and capital, just looking for the right person to produce they should just be trustworthy and also have initiative and be proactive.
We already have a startup facility of 1200 sqft fruiting room and 400 sqft spawning room with automated humidity control.
With the right candidate to lead this we have capital and land to expand even to 20000 sqft for mushroom production of various types for edible and gourmet use.
Mushrooms we are interested in are Elm Oyster, Shitake, Lions Mane, King Oyster and other edible and gourmet mushrooms that can be sold in the Bangalore area.
We are looking for:
Non-negotiable:
Integrity
Accountability
Drive and energy and self starter and proactive
Empathetic attitude even to the lowest level employees including farm labourers
Not a yes man but brave and confident enough to contradict and provide correct advice to management decisions that may be made without proper analysis
Negotiable:
At least 5 years hands on experience in a combination of the below or at least 60% of the below:
Experience in marketing produce of mushrooms
Experience in sourcing raw material required of mushroom spawn and raw material for different types of mushrooms like Elm Oyster, Shitake, Lions Mane and other edible and gourmet mushrooms.
Production experience of mushrooms and raw material preparation for different types of mushrooms like Elm Oyster, Shitake, Lions Mane, King Oyster and other edible and gourmet mushrooms.
Written knowledge of English and reading and speaking knowledge of Kannada
Experience in basic accounting and record keeping
Degree not required even diploma or 12th pass with 1st class will do main thing is satisfying the above requirements and having the relevant experience.
Candidate will need to do a test before we even begin to interview them. The test will check for the above non-negotiable characteristics we have mentioned.
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
A single room accommodation can be provided on the farm.
After 6 months probation if hired permanently:
Health insurance will be provided to candidate and spouse, children and parents
Term insurance of Rs 1 crore will be provided
