I have heard, some national banks provide loan to small farmers to buy agri land. that too to buy lands which are classified by govt/banks as agri lands, which has irrigation facilities thru local canals. If you are not a farmer and planning to buy uncultivated lands in bulk(> 5 acres), i dont think you will get loan from banks. You can mortgage any of your existing property/gold jewels to raise cash.
