Sheep and goat rearing is supplementary activity to agriculture. However, independent activity is also commercially viable. IDBI Bank grants term loans of Rs. 50,000/- to Rs. 50 lakhs to individual / Group / Shepard co-op society / Federation / Limited companies that are experienced and actively engaged in such activity.

You can apply for loan at any nationalized bank.For applying loan you must have to submit a well prepared goat farm project report as per the current prices.Also you need a collateral security(farm land,building) which is kept by bank as security purpose.The other documents needed are the passport size photos,Adhar card,Voter ID,Electricity or Telephone bill,No dues certificate from bank and two guarantors.
