Land preparation for Aloe vera Cultivatio - Help Needed

Hi All,

I have planned to do aloe vera cultivation. I need help land preparation for cultivation.

I have decided
- to plough land twice not deep,
- Adding cow dung
- levelling the land
- Making ridges. so that planting row in 1 feet high. i.e (space between plants are less height. so that water wil not stagnate near plant

- thn planting plant with 1 feet deep.
- irrigation. Im not sure of how much water i should use.

Please help if anythin i missed or to be corrected in preparing land.

Hi jeeva,

Sterilise the soil once with formalin, then planting season is JUly - August. When it comes to iirugation, first irrigation is given immediately after planting the suckers, followed by 2, 3rd till the plant establishes.$ to 6 irrigations are needed throughout the crop period.
