Hello there !
I am an NRI doctor in UK and want to return to India. I am looking for a low budget land upto Rs 50,000 per acre ( about 50 to 100 acres initially) any where in India for a ultra modern,state of the art medical naturopathy centre for control of diabetes by means of life style changes, diet and minimal use of modern drugs. this will also involve high quality research to curb rising menace of diabetes in our country.
Patients whose diabetes is poorly controlled will be targeted and will be kept upto 6 weeks under a team of diabetologists. They will actively take part in accompanying horticulture activities which will be very enjoyble to them. Their blood sugars will be wirelessly and remotely monitored continuously every 5 mnts. This way it will be possible to stop all insulin and transfer to minimal amount of oral medications.
As price of land is a big factor, I can very well use any non-agriculture land.
Basically, there will be three components of this project
HORTICULTURE UNIT
MEDICAL UNIT
RESEARCH UNIT
The whole project will be broken down in "ACRE UNIT " . Each acre of land will be used. Each of these units will have one modern bungalow and one greenhouse based horticulture unit. This will be occupied by one diabetic patient in focus. The emphasis will be to teach the patient basic principles of life style changes, physical activities, weight loss and switching from Insulin to oral medications, as far as possible.
The fresh horticulture produce will be sold and delivered directly to individual household at a reasonable price. This way, if logistics are well developed then, fresh vegetables which have been plucked within the last 12 to 24 hrs can be delivered every day to individual doorsteps, having orders been placed online just a day before.
Both horticulture and medical side should generate reasonable income.
